I really like Skeptics and True Believers by Chet Raymo. It is kind of old, but presents some strong arguments. Most other books are preaching to the choir though. They are good simply to develop stronger views though.
No surprise Dawkins is winning this one. After giving it much thought, I have to give the laurel to Hume’s “Dialogues Concerning Natural Religion”. Although it is disputed whether or not Hume was a bona fide atheist, he nonetheless gave us most of the strongest statements of our position, while representing theism more thoroughly and fairly than any atheist ever has (and even better than many theists).
